Automatic API-based overview website with 25,000+ deals for Tripdealer

Online Heroes developed the website tripdealer.nl for Tripdealer, a platform that allows users to easily view and compare all discount getaways from eight different providers such as Social Deal, VakantieVeilingen and Groupon. The goal was to create a customized and automated solution that simplifies and consolidates the process of finding the best deals in one convenient overview.

Project scope

Tripdealer faced the challenge of providing users with a central place where they could quickly and easily find all available discount getaways. Manually searching through various provider websites was time-consuming and inefficient, potentially causing users to miss out on good deals and making the overall experience less than optimal. In addition, the current design was in high need of a modern makeover.

Methodology

To address this problem, Online Heroes conducted a thorough analysis of Tripdealer’s needs and project requirements. We then developed an advanced system that utilized custom web crawlers and API integrations to automatically retrieve data from the various providers’ websites. The focus here was on creating a streamlined process that leveraged the latest technologies to collect relevant information quickly and accurately.

Solution

The result of these efforts is tripdealer.co.uk, a user-friendly website with an intuitive interface where users can effortlessly search through more than 25,000 available discount getaways. The website offers a clear view of deals from different providers, allowing users to quickly compare and find the best option for their getaway. Thanks to the automation of the process, users can rely on up-to-date and accurate information, while saving time and experiencing an improved user experience. Thanks to the modern, lightweight design, the site also looks breathtaking!
